What Does “Hold” Mean
Glossary
“Hold” means a temporary delay in affiliate payouts. Your commission is frozen for a few days (typically 7–30) so the advertiser can check traffic quality.
Why a hold is used:
— To verify leads aren’t fake or fraudulent
— To confirm deposits aren’t canceled
— To avoid paying for low-quality traffic
What happens after the hold:
If everything checks out, you get paid. If not, some conversions might be rejected.
Example:
— My payment’s on a 14-day hold — just waiting for it to clear.
